What occurs during laser gum surgery or other dental laser procedures?
When you come for your dental appointment, you might be surprised that the process is very similar to other dental procedures like tooth fillings. You will receive anesthesia, though it might not be as much as you’re used to. Some patients who experience anxiety might also require oral sedation.
During the procedure, you won’t feel any vibrations or discomforts that you might have experienced in the past like you might have had with conventional drilling. There is very little bleeding if any occur. Your mouth will remain open as we work on your dental needs. In most cases, procedures are faster than traditional methods.
